Hop on an amusement ride

Known as the theme park capital of the world, Orlando is home to a number of destinations for the young and young at heart. The Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort, Universal OrlandoŽ Resort, SeaWorldŽ Orlando, and LEGOLANDŽ Florida are among many attractions in the city that promise everlasting memories with family and friends, regardless of age.

Unwind with the family

Downtown Orlando is home to a Farmer's Market where visitors can indulge in fresh produce or idly paddle in a swan-shaped boat on Lake Eola. The Orlando Science Centre at Loch Haven Park is an exciting place for the little ones to discover the beauty of science, besides exploring Kids Town, a mini town for roleplaying.

Soak up the sun

Idle away to the sounds of waves at some of Orlando's coolest beaches. Discover the 25-mile Cape Canaveral National Seashore, which is known for its pristine location and dunes dotted with sea oats for a serene getaway. For a more bustling venue, check out Cocoa Beach and stop by Ron Jon's Surf Shop for a bite. Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island are picturesque gems where you can opt to enjoy the sand and surf or rent bikes and explore.

Get lost in space

The Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex is bound to be a hit with starry-eyed children. Unleash the little astronauts into the Rocket Garden that has enormous space transportation alongside replicas of capsules from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo eras of the space programme. They can also touch moon rock and stand under the largest rocket ever flown, i.e., the Apollo and Saturn V. Mini NASA flight suits are also available at the gift shop.

Explore art like a culture vulture

Orlando has a vibrant local arts scene with thought-provoking collections at the Orlando Museum of Art and the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. Visitors can also watch classical and contemporary performances by the Orlando Ballet, alongside international and local jazz, pop, Broadway, rock, dance and more at the Dr. Philips Centre for the Performing Arts.
