UAE leaders urge residents: Get Covid-19 vaccine quickly

The UAE leaders have hailed the country’s success in becoming the world’s number two when it comes to administering Covid-19 vaccines.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said the UAE has come a long way in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

“My message to everyone is to quickly get the vaccine, because it protects our health, economy and achievements; and will accelerate the recovery of our nation,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on Tuesday.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also took to Twitter to hail the country’s success.
“Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our frontline heroes, 1,275,000 vaccinations have already been provided to UAE citizens and residents. We hope that with vaccinations picking up pace, we will reach the point of full recovery in the shortest possible time.”
